Dubai is located on the shore of the Persian Gulf. A creek divides it into two sections: Bur Dubai and Deira. During the last 42 years the Dubai Emirate has been continuously changing and growing. The latest state-of-the-art architectural technology has enabled the dramatic change in its appearance from an ancient Middle Eastern city to a modern thriving metropolis. On Dubai’s most prestigious street, Sheikh Zayed Road, glistering steel and glass skyscrapers make you feel as if you are in New York City. The twin silver-gray Emirates Towers, the 350-meter-tall Burj Khalifa tower, new JW Marriott Marquis Dubai towers and many others are awe-inspiring sites.
It is not surprising that Dubai is often called the “Paris of on the Persian Gulf.” Here you will enter a world of bars, nightclubs, restaurants, and, of course, shopping. Dubai is an excellent location to practice all kinds of sports including sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, swimming, diving, golf and more. Vacationing in Dubai is sure to leave you with many vivid and wonderful memories.

The emirate of Sharjah, located on the shore of the Persian Gulf, is also a popular vacation spot. Guests of this emirate enjoy visiting such sites as the Quran Monument and the King Faisal Mosque, which can accommodate 3,000 people. One of the many attractions in Sharjah is its market, which Russians call “locomotives”. Why? You’ll find out when you visit hospitable Sharjah!

This emirate inherited its name from the tribe that used to inhabit it. This beautiful emirate features soft sands, natural landscape as well as the magnificent sea. Ajman attracts visitors for its crisp, clean air and its serene environment. It is an excellent choice for those who want to escape reality for a while and relax. Ajman is a little piece of heaven on earth.

Umm al-Quwain

Umm Al Quwain, which translates to “Mother of Two Powers”, is a small region that is the least populous of the seven emirates. It’s quiet and so compact that you can drive across it in about an hour. Umm Al Quwain is known for its natural beauty, outstanding sandy beaches and opportunities for swimming, diving, fishing and other recreational activities. This emirate is also famous for its shooting clubs where you can try a wide array of firearms.

Ras al-Khaimah is the northernmost region and the most fertile of the seven emirates. Its name translates to “Top of the Tent”. The capital of the emirate, which bears the same name, is divided into two parts by a creek. It has been an important center of commerce since ancient times. Its favorable climate and fertile lands have turned this emirate into a flourishing oasis. The long history of the Arab world is visible in the narrow sandy streets of the old city, as well as the ancient fort that has been turned into a museum. There are old pirate lookout towers, a historic mosque, and houses with walls that were built using coral and palm tree trunks. The region of Hatta features hot springs that provide mineral water for resort bathing.

Fujairah is the youngest emirate in the UAE. It is known for its breathtaking landscapes. Its sandy beaches stretch out all along the Indian Ocean coast, there’s also the towering rocky Hajar Mountain, palm groves, and more. The underwater world there is exceptionally rich and diverse, providing an excellent opportunity for diving. If you need a relaxing vacation, come to Fujairah!
